Hello lovelies,

Today I’ll be swatching a magical polish, ‘Unicorn’. Picture Polish’s Unicorn is the collaboration shade created with Allie from britnails.

‘Unicorn’ is a polish with a turquoise base that has this pink shimmer in it. The pink shimmer is very hard to photograph, and it almost looks nonexistent, but it’s there. It’s also filled with pink and silver glitter. It’s a unique shade, maybe a bit childish, but in a good way.

The application was nice, maybe a little bit thick, but that’s expected since it’s a glitter polish. I used two coats on my pictures + a top coat to make it smooth and shiny. The polish does dry quickly, which I liked very much.

Since the polish is called ‘Unicorn’ I knew I had to draw one, or at least try. It’s not the prettiest unicorn, but there’s something charming about it, since I drew it with my non-dominant hand.

This polish might be too childish for some people, but I do like it, since it captures the magical essence that emits from unicorns. Besides I love everything that's cute and turquoise, so how can I not like this polish?

Overall, I’m quite satisfied with ‘Unicorn’.

Blue Roses

Hello guys,

My mani today is quite simple and elegant. I don’t know how I came up with it, but I wore Appeal4’s Whortleberry and suddenly I felt like drawing blue roses.

I used Appeal4’s Hollis Milkweed as a white base for my flowers and the gold nail is Barry M’s Majesty. The flowers are as always done with acrylic paint.

Overall I’m quite satisfied with this simple mani. The blue flowers just look so fresh.

Bornprettystore Review: Bowknot rhinestones.

Hello guys

I’m back with another review for bornprettystore.com. Today I’ll be reviewing some bowknot rhinestones. You get 250 rhinestones in one nail art wheel, which is not bad at all. The rhinestones are clear, but change color depending on how the light hits them. I decided to use these rhinestones on top of a gradient, and I really like the result.

The bows are very easy to use and you can use them for nail art or if you just need something extra on your nail polish. I didn’t cover these rhinestones with top coat, because top coat tends to dull the shine of rhinestones. There’s not really anything bad to say about these rhinestones!

If you like these rhinestones, you can find them here. Remember to use my coupon code SXUQ10 to get 10% off.

Lakken jeg stampede med er OPI's 'I vant to be a lone star'.

Hello guys,

Today I’ll be talking about one of my new favorite polishes, namely Appeal4’s Whortleberry. The nail polish can be described as a dark navy, but it honestly reminds me of blueberries. I just love deep and dark colors like this. The application was very nice and I only used 2 coats for full coverage.

It’s such a beautiful polish that doesn’t need nail art, but I did some anyways. This time, I tried out stamping once again, and I’m really digging the result. I used OPI’s ‘I Vant To Be A Lone Star” as my stamping polish.

Compulsive Nail Stripes Review

Hello guys. Today I have another review for you. This time I’ll be reviewing some nail polish stripes from Compulsive Nails. The fonder, Alexandra asked me if I wanted to try some of them, and after giving it some thought, I said yes.

Alexandra told me that their nail polish stripes are made from real nail polish. Besides they are vegan and never tested on animals + 3 free. It all sounds good right? But let’s talk more about the application.

So, these stripes are supposed to be flexible and easy to apply. I cleaned my nails with nail polish remover and applied the stripes directly on my nails. Then I filed the access stripes off and applied one layer of top coat, and then another layer of matte top coat, since I wanted a matte finish.

I really liked the application of these stripes. They were very easy to use and since there’s 20 stripes, there’s most likely some that are going to fit your nails. My thumbs are very big, so even the biggest stripes didn’t cover them up completely, but that’s a personal problem I guess. I can’t say much about the durability of these. I wore these stripes for a day and a half, since I can’t help but to pick at my stripes. On the website it says that they can last for 5-10 days. When I wore them, they looked completely fine. There was a bit of tip wear, but that’s okay. If you don’t have to wash dishes or something like that, I think that these can last for a week, if you apply a layer of top coat from time to time.

I have to admit that I'm not the type of person, who uses stripes like this often. I like changing my nail polish after 1-2 days, but from time to time I get busy and for those occasions, nail stripes are perfect. You have nail art on your fingers in 5-10 minutes, but it looks like you’ve spent 5 hours on doing your nails. If you want to wear the same design for a week or you need a design for a day, where you don’t have time to do your nails, then I can recommend you these stripes from compulsive nails.

You can find them online on compulsivenails.com, where they cost around $9. I’ve seen pricier stripes, so I guess that this price is quite reasonable. Alexandra told me that they do ship worldwide. Within the US shipping costs $1.50 and international shipping is supposed to be around $3.00.

These stripes were sent to me in exchange for an honest review.
