A little summer...

Milena

Hey guys!

Here’s a short blog post from me.

I saw this design on Paulina’s blog, and I knew I had to recreate it. For this design I combined Essie’s Groove is in the Heart and Beyond Cozy – the dots were made with acrylic paint.

I really do like the outcome – quite cute and girly.

Take care,

Milena

escapades stripes

God dag derude.

Hey lovelies,

I haven’t really blogged in a while, since I’ve been a little busy. If you want to make sure that you don’t miss a design from me, then I’d recommend that you follow me on instagram.

Today’s mani was made a month ago… Yes, it did take me some time to edit the pictures, but better late than never, right?

When I saw this design using Escapades, I just knew I had to recreate it.

I really like the outcome of this design!

Take care,

Milena

Fall Roses

Basen til denne mani er Essie – The Perfect Cover Up.

Hello guys

I’ve finally done some nail art. And of course I had to do roses, cause I never do them, right?

For this mani I used Essie’s The Perfect Cover Up. It lives up to the name, yep, it’s a one coater – or at least for me it is. I did some free hand stripes with Essie's Blossom Dandy. I’m don't usually draw my stripes, since I never get satisfied – which is the case here too. It’s fine, but it could have been better! The flowers are done with acrylic paint.

God dag derude.

I actually do like this design, even though some of the stripes could have been better. On the other hand though, I really like how my roses turned out! And look at the matte version! I just love matte nails, always!

I hope you like this design.

Take care,

Milena

Indie Nail The Mail Box - September

Hello guys

Today it's all about the Indie Box from Nail The Mail. Nail The Mail is a European online shop with lots of different nail polish brands. What makes Nail The Mail even cooler is that they have these monthly subscription boxes - the box I'll talk about is the Indie Nail The Mail box.

Anyways, here you have some swatches of the September box.

I’ll start with the polish from one of the bigger indie brands, namely Appeal4’s – Lucky Robin.

Lucky Robin is a brick colored red. It has this kind of warm feeling to it, and as I looked at it throughout the day, it definitely looked more brown the darker it got. I do like it though and I used two easy coats. I combined this polish with OPI’s My Vampire is Buff and stamped with Lucky Robin.

The next polish is the Nail The Mail exclusive. I’m always really excited for these, especially since Nina told me that it would be an indie brand that I hadn’t heard of before.

This polish is called La Firenze and is from Polish By Eddie

La Firenze is a gorgeous deep dark purple with delicate scattered holo. You know that I can be a little picky when it comes to purple, since it really isn’t my color, but I really do adore this shade. It was easy to apply, a but streaky on the first coat, but I did get a fine even coverage after two coats. And guys, this polish was scented! I’ve never tried a scented polish and I’m sure I must have looked like an idiot, inhaling the scent of my polish, haha!.

Flash
Isn’t this polish just super adorable? I really love the little swatch kitty! How amazing is that?!

As you might know there’s a little something extra in each box… this time there was a pink glass file included! I personally love glass files, and this one reminds me of one I already own! I really like it though, because now I have an extra file I can add to my bag, so I’m ready to save my babies if anything happens at all times.

And that’s it guys. I really like the box this month and the custom made polish was such a cute surprise! Can’t wait for the next box!

What do you guys think?
Take care,
Milena
