Nail The Mail October Indie Box

Box provided for review

Hi guys

Today it’s going to be all about the October Nail The Mail indie box. I’ve previously explained the concept of the box here.

So this month there was a pink theme to cast some awareness on breast cancer.

The first two polishes are from Appeal4. The pink one is called Pinky Pine and the white glitter topper is called Coconut Pine.

Pinky Pine is a pink polish with small pink shimmer in it. While the color was intense, I felt like it didn’t cover completely after two coats – but that’s what you see on the pictures. I decided to do some pineapple nail art, since I though that could be fun and decided to spice the mani up with Coconut Pine. Coconut Pine is a white glitter topper – the pay off is very subtle, but I do like it! Very cute.

I had to add a matte top coat! Doesn’t it look awesome?

The next polish is the special one made for Nail The Mail. The polish is called Princess Diaries and it’s from an indie brand called Ms. Sparkle. It’s a white crelly with pink shimmer and rose gold metallic shards.

The formula was honestly a little bit too tick and gloopy for my liking. The first coat was really sheer, but I did manage to make it cover with a second, thicker coat. I’m not really sure what I think about this polish. I do like the color and the metallic shards, but I think I’d like it more without the pink shimmer.

The little extra this time was a cuticle cream from Voelve.

I really really like this one! It has a quite subtle and natural scent and it feels amazing! I’m a big fan of this one and I hope we get more nail care items in the future boxes.

So that was this month’s box – what do you guys think about it?

Take care,

Milena
